Great place for a calming experience. Walkable distance from the backwaters. You can walk through the farms to reach the Kabini reservoir, or drive within 2 km. Bird watching, peacocks, and you can ask a fisherman in the morning to take you on a coracle ride. Absolute fun.

Had a very pleasant stay here. Dinner was homely. Owner was helpful with the required info and caretaker Somesh was friendly and helpful too, able to accommodate us well. Room was neat and clean, especially upstairs.

Driven by a strong sense of social responsibility, he has been instrumental in the relocation and rehabilitation of local tribes in Nagarahole, working in collaboration with the government and NGOs. His initiatives include organizing medical camps in tribal settlement areas and supporting the education of tribal children. Additionally, he has made significant contributions in raising awareness among peripheral village communities about the importance of wildlife and forest conservation, particularly in addressing human-animal conflicts. Currently, he continues his commitment in supporting the educational needs of eight tribal school’s children in and around Nagarahole National Park.
